Matthew Major is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Troy, OH who attends Troy Christian High School. Tall and athletic broad shouldered build with good present strength. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense with a third base profile moving forward, has solid arm strength, step by step actions with good fundamental footwork. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced base with a deep hand load, hands work well to drive his swing, tends to loose his lower half early at times, projects some power in the future, showed some game power to the opposite field and stayed behind the ball well. Very good student, verbal commitment to Tulane.
