Samuel Prasse is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Liberty. Prasse has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He has a deep stab in the back of his arm action with developing arm speed. Prasse has a multi piece delivery with a cross body release. He hides the ball a bit and leans hit shoulders back at balance point. Prasse has a fairly straight fastball with occasional sink to it. He throws an 11/5 curveball at 62 MPH with a short break. Prasse throws a solid change up at 68 MPH with sink on it. Defensively he had developing 1B actions with solid hands. At the plate, Prasse starts with a bent knee stance and has a rotational swing. He works around the baseball with developing bat speed. Excellent student.
