Justin Pacheco is a 2018 MIF/3B, RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Howard Beach, NY who attends The Loomis Chaffee High School. Medium build with square shoulders and a younger frame with room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.39 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, picked it well with good hands with athletic actions and strong, accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, started with a narrow, open stance, quick hand load with a leg kick timing mechanism. Showed a quick barrel head with present feel for the barrel with an approach that worked to all fields. Would improve with additional extension and lower half incorporation. Also pitched, showed an athletic arm action from a mid three quarter arm slot. Fastball worked 78-81 mph with life out of the hand and ability to elevate. Mixed in a curveball with 10/4 shape and occasional depth as well as a changeup that showed fade.
