Tyler Neely is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Union City, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.01 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with clean footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Displayed polished glove actions at pick up and exchange. Created accurate, on line carry while throwing to each bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with an upright stance and high back elbow set. Transfers lower half into contact well with aggressive actions. Flashed some fluidity through the hitting zone while employing a naturally leveraged swing plane. Generated good jump off the barrel to each gap when on time and squared. Very good student as well.
