Ryan Spikes is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Compact athletic build with good present strength. Two-way prospect. Right handed hitter, has a simple and direct approach at the plate, high contact swing with very good barrel to ball skills, low tension swing, works gap to gap with good bat speed and the ability to get some carry on the ball. 6.65 runner, has very good first step quickness in the middle infield, has body control and balance through the ball, quick release with solid arm strength, makes accurate throws and can throw from lower slots, pure middle infielder on defense. Also pitches, 3/4's arm slot, works a fastball up to 91 mph to both sides of the plate with some sink to it. Tunnels slider very well with his fastball and it shows some sharpness and depth. Live bodied athlete who has play a lot of baseball and it shows. Good student, verbal commitment to Tennessee.
