Allen Brown is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Loganville Christian Academy. Medium and athletic build. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, good feel for the position, sets up on the balls of his feet, quick footwork into throw downs but could gain some more ground into release as well as follow through more, tends to throw uphill but can be fixed with minor adjustments, receives out in front, clean exchange from glove to hand, plenty of things to like including arm strength on throws to second base, 1.94 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a wide base and high hands, good balance at the plate with a quick load, very strong hands that play really well into the swing, utilizes his lower half well into the swing, looking to drive the ball and did so well during batting practice round with lots of loud contact, showed an aggressive approach in game. Good student. Named to 2018 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.
