Roman Angelo is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Bakersfield Christian. Large frame with a solid build and present strength. Projects for additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced, full delivery. Lower half drives to plate with slight front side swing to landing. Long, loose arm action from a three-quarters slot that produces some downhill angle to the plate. Varies release point at times but is able to move and locate to each side of the plate. Extends through finish well on fastball offering. Fastball sat in the upper 70's, topping at 81 mph with occasional running action. Curveball has 11/5 shape with softer spin and some depth down in the zone. Velocity and command has improved nicely since last event. Tools will continue to improve with continue physical maturity. Very good student as well.
