2018 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Conner Todaro is a 2019 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 171 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison. Medium and athletic frame that really looks the part, present strength to the build especially to the lower half. Ran a 6.92 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showcased very good footwork to the baseball and through gather, good arm strength into throws that are accurate to the bag, topped out at 89 mph from the outfield. Secondary infielder, showed good actions in the infield as well, clean hands out in front with a nice transfer from his glove to his hand, nimble lateral movements. Also pitched, compact and slight crossfire delivery with a high leg lift to start, compact arm stroke up to a 3/4 arm slot, lands closed, arm works well through the back. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with varying life both sinking and cutting, mixed in a slider that showed good potential and late bite, split changeup worked into arsenal and was an effective pitch. Righthanded hitter, hips leak at times to start, clean swing with some loft but does get uphill occasionally, primarily produced line drives to all fields. Great student.
