Elijah Dickerson is a 2019 OF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Mount Holly, NJ who attends Rancocas Valley High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 5.10 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, fluidity to actions, full arm action through the back, good carry when on top of ball with present arm strength out of hand, up to 89 mph. Also pitched, short side step moving into delivery; longer arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point; high energy moving through release. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, worked on top of the ball and filled the zone, mixed a curveball up to 70 mph for strikes. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an open and quiet stance in the box with a medium hand set and a low back elbow away from body in set up. Creates very interesting bat speed through the zone and able to impact the baseball hard at the point of contact. Creates extension and hits the ball out front; uncoils well into contact and projects for power with continued leverage to swing plane. Nice tools on both sides of the ball. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to La Salle.
