Josh Tate is a 2022 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Starrs Mill HS. Recorded a 6.35 second 60-yard dash time. Lean, twitchy frame with tons of athleticism and wiry strength. Primary shortstop with good footwork and efficient routes. Good angles and has a higher slot. Quick release with good fluidity and really moves well with throws up to 87 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, simple swing, and good finish through the ball. Good barrel skills with a linear stroke. Above average bat speed and gets on plane really well. Great student. Verbal commitment to Georgia.
