Luis Espinal is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Extremely strong physical build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a lift and replace load and a high back elbow start, will occasionally lose his hips early but has outstanding raw strength at contact when he stays back, short hand path to the ball with explosive hands, has power to all fields, quality game at-bats both days and showed his power well. Very good arm strength from third base, has a short and compact arm stroke that will play well, makes accurate throws, moves well for his size with smooth lower half actions. Good student, signed with Miami. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
