2021 14U Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Caiden Combs is a 2025 1B/3B/RHP with a 6-3 245 lb. frame from Mount Olive, AL who attends Gardendale. Extra big and strong build. Surprisingly good athlete for his age and size, ran a 7.66 sixty and had nice balance and some explosion in all his actions. Right handed hitter, has an extended swing with good lift out front and obvious power potential if he can stay short enough to the ball to find it in games. Corner infielder on defense, showed nice soft hands picking balls at first base and some lower half agility in his footwork and turns. Big arm strength at both first and third base. Also pitched and has a chance on the mound as well. Gets downhill well from an over the top arm slot and uses his big strong body to generate power to the plate. Fastball topped out at 84mph, also showed some spin on a 12/6 curveball. Good student. Named to the 14U Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
