Justin Breitenstein is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Estero, FL who attends Estero. Extra-large frame with long levers and room to fill, has obvious strength present. Primary first baseman and left-handed hitter with an even and in line stance, utilizes a big leg lift trigger and a busy hand load with lots of bat waggle. Gets coiled well, has definite bat speed and showed a pull side approach with significant pop to that side. Intimidating and physical presence in the box, went yard during the games. Big offensive upside moving forward. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a long adn loose arm action, comes from a low three-quarters to side arm slot. Full delivery with a knee to chest leg lift, lands on line and recoils towards first base on the finish. Easy thrower with a low effort operation overall, arm projects well and so does the body. Has decent command of the fastball and it shows arm side run, flashed a breaking ball with developing feel/command for it. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Main Event Top Prospect List.
