Carter Sanford is a 2020 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Fayette, AL who attends Fayette County HS. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with lots of room on the frame for additional physicality. Primary catcher with a smooth transfer to the throwing hand. Accurate throws and gets it out quickly with a solid release. Bit longer of an arm stroke but recorded a best pop time of 1.95 seconds and arm strength up to 80 mph. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Has bat speed and balance to the swing with some fluidity out in front. Quickness to hands and looks really good when extending out in front. Leg lift trigger into the swing with a simple swing and turns on the inside well. Very advanced approach and the ball comes off the bat well. Good student.
