Anthony Saleeba is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Bartram Trail. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front, works into a shorter arm action through the back and up to a higher release point, will continue to refine overall footwork and direction moving out of crouch, shows carry on throws down to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, narrow base at start and utilizes a big stride moving into contact. Upper body dominant swing, barrel tilt at start, long path through the zone and generates some lift at the point of contact out front. Best contact and carry to the middle of the field. Good student.
