Cade Hentz is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Trinity Catholic. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Hits from spread stance with high hands and back elbow, toe tap trigger, hands work on inside path and will get uphill, short to the ball, pull-side approach, can turn on the ball with authority, projects for power. Worked out in the infield, good angles and positioning feel, moves well laterally, solid footwork with clean hands out front, whip to arm stroke with adjustable slot, clocked up to 83 mph on throws across. Good student.
