Steven Milam is a 2023 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends Centennial. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, tools and skills best suited for second base, has soft hands and a quick and easy release with a short arm action. Switch hitter at the plate, has better balance and more bat speed from the left side, hits from a straight stance, finishes through the ball well and can turn the barrel over on his pitch. More of a contact swing with more downhill angle to his swing right handed. Very good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
