Beau Stuckey is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Fayetteville, AR who attends Fayetteville. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill, has present strength to frame. Quick-twitch muscle, posted a 6.65 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well to the ball and fields the ball out front with soft hands, extra step through the ball at release, glove skills play and shows comfort in manipulating arm slot, accurate across the diamond and shows carry when on top, arm strength will continue to improve. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Shows quickness to hands and does a nice job of staying direct to the ball with a short swing overall, fluid path and comfort working the gaps. Utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing and shows a handle for the barrel, creates contact out front and has tools that will continue to project with added strength. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Missouri State.
