Myles Mayse is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Midlothian Heritage. Strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has nice athletic quickness while staying compact, solid fundamentals with his footwork and glove positioning, makes very accurate throws with good carry, has the defensive tools for a premium position. Switch hitter on offense, hits from a spread and open stance left handed with limited lower half shift into contact, has good short quick hands to the ball and stays connected well, gets some jump off the barrel. More rotational and inside from the right side with less bat speed, flashed the ability to create some lift and use his strength from the right side. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas.
