Kassius Thomas is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Northridge, CA who attends Sierra Canyon HS. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time. Slender build with lots of room to add strength and fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Online arm stroke with a free and easy arm action. Three-quarters arm slot with a fastball up to 93 mph. Good command to the arm side of the plate. Slider has some swing-and-miss components to it and flashed a couple of changeups to left-handed hitters. Solid strikes and showed a full pitch mix. Lots of different offerings he can throw at hitters. Right-handed hitter with a downhill swing plane and middle of the field approach. Has some bat speed with impact to the pull side. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Duke.
