Caden Casagrande is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Eagle, ID who attends Bishop Kelly. Recorded a 6.92 second sixty-yard dash time. Athletic, medium frame with some lean strength throughout. Primary shortstop with smooth, fluid actions throughout the fielding process and above average arm strength across the diamond. Displayed exceptional lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in front and the ability to change arm slots when necessary. Works downhill through the baseball, transferring smoothly into release. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 90 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that this from an upright, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Simple, repeatable stroke with quite movements into impact, tons of bat speed and feel for the barrel.
