Colton Wemhoff is a 2023 SS/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Gladstone, MO who attends Rockhurst HS. Recorded a 7.71 second 60-yard dash time. Long frame with broad shoulders and room to add significant strength to the build. Primary shortstop with solid timing and quick, sure feet. Lower arm slot with athletic actions with a compact arm stroke. Solid feel and works well to either side of the position. Arm strength plays nicely from secondary position of the outfield where it was registered up to 79 mph into the infield. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and quick hands through the swing. Creates some jump off the barrel and repeats the swing well. Hitterish actions and tendencies with good present bat speed. Consistent hard hit contact and showed it plays well during the game with a gap to gap oriented approach. Named to the 14u Midwest Top Prospect List.
