2022 PG Underclass All-American Games
Charlie Caruso is a 2024 C/UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from an open and narrow start with a big move into contact, lots of variables to start his swing, has some strength in his hands, line drive contact with a gap to gap approach. Primary catcher on defense, has good lower half actions and athleticism, moves well side to side, short and quick exchange and release, some carry on his throws. Has run 6.81 in the sixty at PG events in the past. Will keep improving as he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
