Bradyn Barnes is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Highland. Young lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Simple delivery with good pace and direction, high 3/4's to almost over the top arm slot, gets over his front side well out front and works downhill. Steady mid-80's fastball with good angle, gets to the bottom of the zone consistently. Shortens his arm stroke a bit on his curveball but gets over it well with good depth, developed more and more feel and precision with the curveball as he threw it more. Flashed a straight change up as well. Good bet to keep improving as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Arizona State.
