Nick Pratt is a 2023 C/ with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Severna Park, MD who attends Indian Creek School. Recorded a 7.67 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame with a strong and physical build. Primary catcher with soft hands, receives well and shows quick feet. Good defensive actions overall, shows sound transitions with a compact arm action, throws were accurate to the bag. Right-handed hitter with an even/balanced base and open stance and a high back elbow set. Lowered his hands and did a good job of making adjustments during his round. Gets into his lower half and moves in well, incorporates his whole body into the swing. Utilizes a small stride and keeps the hands quiet while still generating impressive bat speed. Launches with intent and violently fires his back hip at the ball, has tons of juice to the pull side, showed big power potential in BP and it translated to the games. Exciting offensive projection. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
