Amaury De Jesus is a 2024 SS/ with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Ferguson Academy For Young Women. Lean athlete with a medium overall build and is still young with time to fill out. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.07 seconds. Primary position SS who showed quick actions and moved well on the clay. Solid lateral range and his glove work was clean and easy through the ball. He created the classic middle infielders arm action where he stayed behind the ball well, giving his throws clean rotation and nice carry. Displayed good coordination and understanding on how to work the slow roller and threw well on the run. LHH with a high initial hand setup and high back elbow to start. He worked the bat to contact with some fluidness and there is a looseness to his wrists creating good bat speed. Has natural lift and gets the ball in the air with ease, projecting power in the longterm as he adds overall muscularity. Profiles as an offensive middle infielder.
