Ivan Guzman is a 2025 3B/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Yuma, AZ who attends Yuma Catholic. He has a taller frame for his age with a high waist and room to add strength as he develops. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.13 seconds. Primary third baseman that moves to both sides of his body well. He has developing footwork when fielding the ball that will become cleaner and more fluid with age. He showed a nice feel for the glove and funneled it into his body well. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a high leg kick and lands slightly closed to the plate, giving the hitters a crossfire look. He has a long arm action and delivers from a high 3/4 slot. He is able to create nice a nice downward plane with is fastball that makes it tough to square up. His curveball is a sharp breaking pitch that has good depth and keeps hitter off balance. He showed good feel for both pitches, consistently throwing them for strikes on both sides of the plate. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wide base with bend in his knees and a high back elbow.. He uses a simple stride for timing and does a nice job of loading his weight onto his back foot. His swing is longer and he stays on balance well throughout the process.
