Hunter Watson is a 2026 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Tuttle, OK who attends Tuttle. Thick and strong prototypical catcher's build. High level two-way prospect. Primary catcher who has very good fundamental actions defensively, stays compact and low, very good blocker, makes accurate throws with consistent footwork and release, game actions in drills, has all the tools and aptitude to stay behind the plate at higher levels of the game. Right handed hitter, has a calm and simple load and trigger, short and direct swing that is more contact oriented at present over power/lift oriented, squared the ball up well in the games. Stood out on the mound as well, has a fast and compact catcher's arm action that hides the ball very well. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes, velocity played up with his deception. Change up was an outstanding pitch with big run and sink and very good arm speed at release. Curveball was a solid offering with lots of spin and sweeping depth. Threw strikes with all three pitches. Mature 16 year old who understands the game. Very good student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
