Jendry Cruz is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-0 95 lb. frame from Elmwoodpark, NJ who attends Elmwood Park. Smaller young build. Works from the stretch with a high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well coming through. Pitched down in the strike zone with a fastball that topped out at 61 mph, fielded his position well. 9.77 runner, played the outfield and first base when not on the mound, showed good actions through the ball in the outfield and a good idea on his footwork, fields and catches the ball cleanly at first base. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a good lower half shift into contact, good base swing with line drive contact to all fields. Good fundamental player who will keep improving as he gets bigger and stronger.
