Adriel Huertas is a 2028 RHP/IF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Paterson, NJ who attends St. Joseph's Regional. As a primary RHP, Huertas showcased calculated and controlled mechanics on the mound, staying balanced over the rubber well to ultimately top out at 76 mph. He released from a lower 3/4 slot that generated some natural movement on pitches, mixing a sweeping breaker up to 2157 rpm as well as a developing CH also present in the arsenal. Huertas also worked from the IF, displaying smooth actions with quick footwork to top out at 80 mph across the diamond. Expect arm strength to continue increasing at both spots as the build matures and fills out. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow base with a toe tap trigger and looseness to the hands creating flashes of solid line drive contact to the pull side. He shifted the weight well through impact with power becoming more of a factor in the future.
