Ty Davis is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 177 lb. frame from Denver, NC who attends East Lincoln. Medium, athletic frame with tons of time to continue to add on. Right-handed hitter with a spread stance and low back elbow. Strides into contact, uphill swing path without much drive from the lower half. As he starts using the legs more in the swing should see a jump in power. Primary third baseman, stays back on grounders, fielding with two hands out front, efficient exchange with accurate throws across. Step by step actions on the dirt, showed the ability to change arm angles. Recorded throws up to 76 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the middle of the rubber with a medium leg lift to balance, clean arm action in the back to a high release point. Repeats mechanics well with good athleticism. Fastball jumps out of the hand, up to 83 mph (1823 RPM). Curveball with vertical break and a changeup with some arm-side depth were mixed in the low-70s. Got better throughout the outing as he settled in. Excellent Student. Named to 2022 Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
