David Wright is a 2008 C with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Fort Worth Country Day. Has a solid catcher's body with some present strength. Good behind the plate, projects well at the position. His already solid pop times should improve as his footwork does and his in-game throws were accurate. At the plate he has strong hitter's hands and a powerful swing. He has some lift in his swing and the ball comes off his bat well. Will add more power to his swing as he learns to use his entire body better. Loves to be on a baseball field. Committed to TCU. He is a good one.
