2023 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Aaron Concepcion is a 2027 SS/RHP/INF with a 5-8 133 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Woodland Hills. Concepcion works from a young build with plenty of time to fill out and physically develop as a '27 prospect. Starting from his primary IF spot, he displayed direct footwork through the baseball with flashes of lateral range, ultimately topping out at 70 mph across the diamond. Expect the glove/arm action to refine as Concepcion continues to mature. On the bump, he showcased a compact delivery with a medium downhill stride and 3/4 arm slot. He repeated the operation well and topped out at 72 mph with spin becoming more prominent in the future. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow, successfully pulling the hands inside the baseball to generate his best contact back up the middle. He flashed the ability to extend post contact with contact tool present. Ran a 8.91 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
