2023 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
William Nixon is a 2026 1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Fruit Heights, UT who attends Davis HS. Working exclusively from his primary 1B spot, Nixon displayed the ability to field out in front with developing footwork and turns, producing accurate throws across the diamond up to 68 mph. He showcased controlled calculated movements with arm strength expected to increase in the future as a '26 prospect. Offensively, the lefty started from a slightly open stance with a lower hand set and high back elbow, flashing a closed stride generating contact to all parts of the field. Nixon has further room to control the barrel and create impact out in front, posting an exit velo of 82 mph. Ran a 9.12 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
