Caden Charley is a 2026 RHP/IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Smithville, MO who attends Smithville. Recorded a 7.27 second sixty yard dash time. Short and stocky build. Right-handed pitcher works from a chest-high leg kick and opens the lower half some with a medium length stride down the mound. Over-the-top arm slot. The fastball (1557 RPM) has some arm side life and was in low-to-mid 70s and topped out at 75. Also showed a 12-6 shaped curveball (1505 RPM) that he could throw in the zone for strikes. Curveball has some snap into the zone and was able to pitch backwards with it. Worked well in the lower third of the zone and showed a willingness to elevate the fastball for swings and misses. Secondary outfielder, fields off one foot with a short and compact arm action. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base and square stance, utilizes a high leg kick. Uphill bat path with some feel for the barrel with enough hand speed. Got to the barrel with an up-the-middle of the field approach hitting line drives. Intriguing player with upside as the frame matures and gets stronger.
