Cal Zimmerman is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Kirkland, WA who attends Bellevue. He has a good frame with an athletic build and room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Primary shortstop that showed good movement to both sides of his body. He works himself into a nice fielding position and throws with a loose arm. He will be able to generate more carry on his throws by working through the process with his lower half better. Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance with his hands away from his body. He uses a small leg lift trigger for timing. He has a steep bat path and takes his hands directly to the ball. He has a pull side approach, looking to hit line drives to left field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
