Sean Tam is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-6 148 lb. frame from San Mateo, CA who attends Stanford Online High School. Compact, smaller frame with room to fill out and add strength. Recorded a 7.32 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with fundamentally sound footwork, a decently quick first step and some lateral range. Worked downhill through the baseball with good pace and delivered accurate throws with developing arm strength up to 77 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with an energetic leg lift into balance, high front lever and medium stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 77 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Showed developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments. Will need to add viable secondary offering in the future, plenty of time to gain more velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and big leg lift trigger into launch. Intent based swing with some quickness to his hands and developing feel for the barrel. Balanced, line stroke with the ability to use the whole field effectively. Will continue to improve with minor mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
