2022 Northern California Prospect Showcase
Quincy Malbrough is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Loomis, CA who attends Del Oro. Bigger frame with high quality defensive prowess, looked comfortable in multiple spots with good intent to charge through the baseball and produce strong accurate throws in from the outfield. He showed sound foot work and glove technique in the infield with decent lateral mobility to match. The arm strength plays, delivering accurate on time throws across. At the dish, he stands tall with a medium base that works into a drifting leg kick he used to fire the lower half and generate hard hit ball line to line. 7.07 60-yard. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
