Tristen Walker is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Staley. He has a medium frame with an athletic build and a high waist. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.03 seconds. Primary catcher that starts square to the pitcher. He transfers the ball at his chest and away from his body. He throws with a short arm action and throws uphill. He stands on his throws and could shave some time off his pop time by staying low through the process and gaining ground towards second base. Secondary outfielder that fields the ball out in front of his body before making clean transfers to his throwing hand. He fires from a lower slot and showed nice accuracy. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is closed off with high hands and a high back elbow. He sinks into his back hip during his load and showed solid bat speed through the zone. He utilizes a direct swing path and is able to get on plane with the pitch early in his swing. He does a nice job of letting the ball travel and sending hard line drives into the opposite field gap. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
