Trent Rice is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends Cardinal Mooney. Large frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.46 seconds. Speed plays in a big way, stole multiple bases throughout the weekend. Hits from spread and crouched stance, tight hands with high back elbow, toe tap trigger, tends to drift onto front side and create downhill plane, consistent contact skills with great speed. Very good defender in CF with tons of range, covers ground well and shows athleticism throughout actions, clocked up to 80 mph on throws, ended the final game throwing a runner out at 3B from CF, complete defensive player. Standout student, committed to Oakland University, named to 2022 HS All-State Select Top Prospect List.
