2023 13U/14U Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Sean Stephenson is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B, OF, UT with a 6-0 147 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Fellowship Christian. Ran a 8.01 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, leaner build and has lots of filling out to do with time to do so. Younger footwork on the dirt and still getting coordinated and learning his long limbs. Made all the plays with developing overall actions. Longer arm swing while delivering throws up to 70 mph. Worked out in the outfield too. A little deliberate and hesitant while fielding with 2 hands. Throwing uphill while trying to create some momentum. Threw up to 70 mph. Pitched as well, works from the stretch only. Just showed a fastball here at 71 mph with developing feel on the mound. Shorter arm stroke with limited arm speed and struggled to fill it up. Right-handed hitter, stands deep in the box with a balanced and clean setup. Does a nice job of loading into his back hip and separating with the hands. Needs to work on catching it out front and getting extended to really impact the baseball. Has a solid idea with the bat and is close to putting it together. Overall added strength will greatly benefit his entire game as a whole.
