Cruiz Hernandez is a 2025 C/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Saint Paul, MN who attends Simley. Recorded a 8.34 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium frame with a slender build and plenty of room for physical maturity. Primary catcher. Square footwork. Hunched over back into developing footwork toward second base. Shorter arm action that had good accuracy toward second base. Two-handed gather when transferring. Right-handed hitter. Even base in the box with a high back elbow. Short hand path to the ball with okay feel for the barrel. Some length and bat speed in the swing. Clean, line drive approach that will continue to progress as the frame matures and strength is added. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
