Kael Leon is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Shadow Ridge. He ran a 7.70 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a stocky build. On the infield he showed good direction with his first step working around the ball with the glove presentation out front bring the ball in cleanly to the mid line as he shuffles into the throws with a long arm action showing developing arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift with a coil a the top to activate the back side as he drives down the mound doing a nice job of getting back on line while the arm works shot through the back. The fastball topped out at 73 mph with little extension out front as he stays tall with the upper half. The curveball showed little intent with loopier shape but lands for strikes with depth. Right-handed hitter, using a large leg lift trigger with little hand movement in the load, he flashed some bat speed through the zone impacting the ball out front and staying through the middle of the field with a steeper bat path through the hitting zone.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
