Austin Reese is a 2025 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-0 144 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, shows some footwork in actions and will continue to refine, glove skills play to the backhand, accurate throws across the diamond, arm strength will keep improving with added physicality. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base, limited stride moving into contact with no pre-pitch movement in set up. Handsy swing and shows a feel for the barrel, stays short through the ball with some present bat speed through the zone. Contact oriented approach, works to the middle of the field, projects with added strength and implementation of lower half into swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
