Wren Woods is a 2025 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Palos Verdes Estates, CA who attends Bishop Montgomery. Primary middle infielder with smooth motions for the age. Taller, lean frame with present strength and room to fill out. Has clean footwork, funnels the ball well with good transfers. Strong arm for the age group, makes plays moving to either side. Nice carry to throws. Defensive skills translate in game. Right handed batter, employs an upright stance with a medium handset and narrow lower half. Low leg kick in load for contact. Strong hands makes consistent contact to the pull side. Ball carried well off the bat in game with steady hands and good strength. Physical frame translates, swings with intent and solid extension. Path stays controlled in the box. Good skillset on both sides that impressed. Very good student.
