Trent Amoroso is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Redwood City, CA who attends Woodside. The 5-foot-10 middle infielder showed decent actions in the infield demonstrating clean footwork and hands with over the top release. At the dish, he sets up with a wide base that transitions smoothly into a slight leg kick load. He put a charge into a couple deep to pull side with present bat speed. There's definitely some power projection here. On the bump, its a standard delivery with a real high three-quarter, longer arm action at the top but whips the arm forward. He works quickly but doesn't lose his intent doing so. Curveball was rarely thrown but showed 11-5 shape. He could benefit from working down the plane a bit better as well as filling out a decent frame. 7.16 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
