Yu Suefuji is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Lean build. Primary middle infielder. Preps well with quick first step and advanced lateral agility. He shows feel for the backhand and overall glove work. Arm plays with ample strength and carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow base with hands high. Bat speed shows flashes. Aggressive hitter that gears the approach through the middle of the field. On the mound, its a segmented windup with smooth kick and higher pace and effort as he reaches the top of the leg kick. All parts of the body work in unison. Efficient and athletic mover. Long arm stroke and three-quarters produces a fastball that plays true with decent ride. Early signs of polished command. Curveball has big depth but not overly sharp as of yet. 7.80 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
