Bryce Smith is a 2025 SS/BHP with a 5-7 148 lb. frame from Weatherford, TX who attends Weatherford. Smith works from a young projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '25 prospect. Starting from his primary IF spot, he showcased active footwork and worked through the ball well, ultimately topping out at 80 mph across the diamond. Glove work was clean and could change arm slots when needed. On the mound, Smith worked from the stretch displaying simple drive and drive mechanics to pound the zone and record outs efficiently. He flashed the ability to work backwards in counts and effectively sequence an 11-5 shaped breaker with both vertical and horizontal plane. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open stance with a high hand set and some inside out in the approach to create contact to the opposite field. As the barrel control refines, expect power numbers to increase. Ran a 7.42 sixty yard dash. Good student.
