Jack Schultz is a 2027 SS/RHP, OF, UT with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Plymouth, MN who attends Robbinsdale Armstrong. Tall lean high waisted build. In the infield, he shows developing footwork to create angles. The glove funnels well up the middle and secures the routine ball right at him. The throws were accurate with moderate carry across the diamond. At the plate, he sets up with a narrow open base, high back elbow ,and utilizes small leg lift timing. The bat speed is average with ample feel to lift to the pull side as well as to create barreled up contact through the middle. On the mound, the delivery works with small kick into a soft open landing point. The arm action is standard with release out of high quarters slot. The fastball plays true with occasional cut. Slider is steady breaking with lots of sweep. Curveball displays downward action but not overly sharp or tough to identify. Flashed a changeup late that he pulled glove side. 5.37 40-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
