Elijah Johnson is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hickory, MS who attends Acellus Academy. Recorded a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a lean build. Stayed under control with actions in the infield, showing athleticism. Good footwork and clean glovework with some carry across the diamond. Displayed the ability to change slots as well. Right-handed hitter and starts with a narrow base, even feet, and an inverted front foot. Swung with intent and got extended out front. Length to past and looked to lift. Secondary right-handed pitcher and pitched exclusively from the stretch. Long arm action through the back and releases from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 78 and flashed a curveball as well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
